2012 Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup Race Car Introduced

Peugeot is scheduled to receive its dedicated motorsport series in 2012. So this time,the German automaker, Peugeot recently introduced the racing incarnation of the RCZ, called the RCZ Racing Cup Race Car.This car will compete in the RCZ Racing Cup series in 2012.

For the Interior, the German automaker from Peugeot has changed all the interior amenities of the standard car with a more modest set-up that only includes racing seats and a roll cage, among other things.So, the bare interior contributes to a weight savings of 250 kg. The RCZ also added a new suspension and AP Racing brakes.
The 2012 Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup Race Car is powered by 1.6-liter THP turbocharged four-cylinder engine,and delivers 50 extra hp, with an increased output of 250 horsepower - from 200 horsepower - and 214 lb/ft of torque and mated to a SADEV six-speed paddle shift sequential transmission.

If you want to use it in the 2012 season, the racing teams that are looking to enter the series will have to shell out €54,900 ($77,500), which will feature seven events.
